Does anyone know the copyright status of the old radio series, "I Was a Communist for the FBI" starring Dana Andrews? It was syndicated from 1952 to 1953 by the Frederick W. Ziv Company. 78 episodes made, 74 are available. It seems to be in the public domain, but I want to make sure before uploading it.

My copy was taken down a few years ago. It seems to belong to the Milton Geiger Estate. Sorry for the bad news.

Thanks for letting me know. A Google search turns up all episodes if anyone is interested. That's where I found my copies. People are also selling the 74 episodes on DVD on Ebay . Too bad they can't be archived here.

This is one I've looked for, too. I love this series.

The Milton Geiger Estate only retains the copyright on performing shows that he wrote. Even the episode on E-bay claim to be public domain.
